CLINICAL ROTATION - COURSE 2024-25

The syllabus of Clinic Practices (54 ECTS) in  Module VI is taken as the subject Clinical Rotation Skills.

Competences:

The internship comprises independent clinical rotation with a final assessment of skills in health clinics, hospitals and other health centers, which will enable students to internalize professional values, doctor-patient communication skills, clinical reasoning, clinical management and critical judgment, as well as the treatment of the most prevalent health issues in the areas of medicine, surgery, obstetrics, gynecology, pediatrics, psychiatry, amongst others.

 In 6º rotatory/course you must have 9 months distributed of the following way:

Training activities

This module is extremely practical. It is fundamentally composed of practical clinical sessions:

• Clinical internships in hospitals, health centers and primary healthcare centers which have established agreements with the Faculty of Medicine.
• Some activities will be simulations and carried out in the Simulation and Skills Laboratory.
• Training seminars are also run throughout this course.
